Three Types of Over the Counter Yeast Infection Treatments

We often wrongly assume that Over the Counter (OTC) remedies are simply less powerful than prescription medications. In fact, the main function of OTC treatments (such as an over the counter yeast infection) is to treat the symptoms of a particular illness. Here are some remedies that don’t require a prescription:

1. Boric Acid Suppository. Boric acid is a natural chemical with properties that include cleansing and battling fungi. Various studies have revealed that boric acid was more effective than the anti-fungus drug fluconazole, in treating sicknesses that yeasts cause.
